Recruiting Policy

West-Mont United Soccer Association and its Board of Directors firmly discourages the practice of recruitment of players from other clubs by any of its own players, coaches or parents. Any initiated contact with players or parents of players of another club by a West-Mont United participant for the primary purpose of recruiting that player to come to West-Mont United to play soccer on a West-Mont United team is considered unacceptable practice. However, it is acceptable to announce West-Mont United premier and travel team try-outs to other clubs and to players of other clubs along with an associated invitation to attend such try-outs. Moreover, it is also permissible for a coach to discuss with a player of another club or parent of a player of another club future participation of that player with a West-Mont United team if the West-Mont United coach has been first contacted by the player or parent of the player. It is the sole discretion of the Board of Directors of West-Mont United Soccer Association whether or not any behavior constitutes recruiting and to take any action against such behavior.
